Mimosa cocktail recipe
Named for the Color!
This drink was named after the plant mimosa as the color of the drink resembles the color of the flowers of this plant.
Decades after this drink was invented, a mimosa, somehow, still echoes luxury. A sip of its citrusy bubbly goodness cuddles your senses like a soft cashmere robe. Be it on a day of pampering in the spa or a lavish brunch, the mimosa goes best. Don't get us started on the number of times we've gotten hammered on a few too many mimosas at weddings! Surprisingly, we just don't seem to outgrow them (we say, it has something to do with the Champagne).
Traditionally, an opulent concoction of Champagne and citrus fruits, a combination hard to beat, this drink has a good number of ardent lovers. If you're planning for a fancy get-together, serving your guests this drink would definitely add some class to your soirée.
We have given a few Mimosa cocktail recipes with our twist, just to make sure we have got something to everyone! These recipes are for one serving only, you could adjust the quantities according your guest list.
